Talk:Noble Brigand

” There is a niche use of the card as an opener. When you are the second player with $4 in hand in your first turn and when the first player has bought a silver (or gained one with Lucky Coin), you will have 1/3 chance of getting that Silver and trigger a reshuffle with the initial crappy cards at the same time.” This doesn’t make sense. Bought silver goes into discard, brigand reveals cards from draw pile. What did the writer mean with this?—82.181.5.88 02:25, 20 November 2021 (EST)

When the opponent buys Silver on their first turn and they draw their second hand of 5 cards, their draw pile is empty, so if you buy Noble Brigand, it triggers a reshuffle on their 3 Coppers, 2 Estates, and the Silver they bought. There are a total of 6 cards, with 2 revealed, giving the 2/6 or 1/3 chance of stealing the Silver. And the 4 cards remaining on the deck delay the opponent’s use of the 4-cost card they will buy on turn 2. -SignError 07:56, 20 November 2021 (MST)
