I feel it's worth mentioning somewhere that if using Stables as part of a larger engine strategy, the opportunity cost of discarding a Treasure is a lot lower, provided you can trigger a reshuffle. As many engines attempt to draw the entire deck, Stables can be used as a source of non-terminal draw in order to have a better chance of matching your Villages with your primary draw cards.
