The 2013 Dominion Team World Cup group stage featured 12 teams of 4 players. The teams were drawn into groups of three teams and played the other teams in the group in a round-robin format. The winners of each group advanced to the play-off stage.

The teams were seeded according to the average isotropish rating of the top four players for each team. The teams were placed into four groups as follows:
