}}The '''DominionStrategy.com Championships''' are an annually organized [[tournaments|tournament]] by [[Dominion Strategy]]. The tournament was first created in 2011, and has seen two iterations since then, in 2012 and 2015. In 2013 and 2014, [[Goko]] was deemed to unstable to organize such a major tournament. The tournaments have their own subforum, and are one of the three on line recurring tournaments to do so, the others being the [[Dominion League]] and the [[Isodom/Gokodom]] tournaments. [[Mic Qsenoch]] is the most successful player in the tournament, winning the 2015 edition and finishing second in the 2012 season.

== History ==
In 2011, DominionStrategy.com started the tournament, to celebrate the one-year anniversary of DominionStrategy.com and its forums.<ref>Theory, [http://dominionstrategy.com/2011/11/20/the-2011-dominionstrategy-com-championships/], [[Dominion Strategy]]</ref> It was organised by [[Theory]] and [[Rrennaud]]. The format was a single-elimination tournament, with a Kingdom Design competition on the side. This became a huge success, with 256 players and 124 designed Kingdoms. The tournament was won by [[olneyce]], whilst the Kingdom Design competition was won by Wingnut. 

The tournament was announced as being an annual tournament, and the next year, the tournament was once again organised. Theory got help from [[Greatexpectations]] and [[Jonts26]] to host another 256-player tournament, won by [[Stef]].

The next year, [[Goko]] was launched. This meant that the tournament went on an hiatus, because Goko was deemed too unstable to organize such a massive tournament. In 2014, [[Beyond Awesome]] suggested rebooting the tournament, but not much came of this suggestion.<ref>Beyond Awesome, [http://forum.dominionstrategy.com/index.php?topic=11965.0], f.ds</ref>
In 2015, Stef suggested to restart the DominionStrategy.com Championships, and this time the tournament actually was organized.<ref>Stef, [http://forum.dominionstrategy.com/index.php?topic=13002.0], f.ds</ref> 88 players signed up for this iteration, a significantly lower amount than in previous tournaments. Stef got help from [[mith]] and [[Assemble Meme]] in organising the tournament. [[Mic Qsenoch]] won this iteration. 

== Results and statistics ==
In total, a number of 596 matches were played in the three editions of the tournament. A grand total of 600 players signed up, 352 Kingdoms were designed and three winners were crowned.
