FAQ
Official FAQ
- All cards from the chosen pile count, even if they have different names (such as when it is a split pile).
- Ruins (from Dominion: Dark Ages), when used, can be the pile.
Strategy
- Setup tip: shuffle the randomizer cards and pick one, that will be the chosen card.
- If the chosen Action card is also a Victory card, they will be worth an additional 2 . This means that Great Hall and Mill are worth 3 , while Dame Josephine, Island and Nobles are now worth 4 .
Obelisk, much like its more-famed cousin Tower, encourages pile-driving, and in particular rewards players who risk opening turns to pile-drive a certain pile, possibly weaving those cards into a novel, winning strategy. This Landmark in particular works extremely well with gainers, such as Workshop, Ironworks, and Cobbler.

Trivia
Secret History
