If an action is played with the gamble and I still have more actions in hand (and the action played through gamble gives me at least +1 Action), can I continue with playing actions? Because gamble says I can play the action or treasure from the top of my deck, but it doesn't say that I can return to my action phase after that.

You already recognized the reason yourself. You are in Buy phase and do not return (by Gamble) to action phase, so usually you can't use any existing or added Actions for playing action cards. But if the gambled card itself looks for action cards (Vassal, Herald, ...) and finds them, those (can) get played also.
