Talk:List of cards

I've been making a detailed sortable list of cards (see User:Arcticpenguin) and thought I'd transfer it here even though it's still a work in progress. I'm not sure which of the columns are worth keeping. I like having the +Card, +Action, +Buy, +Coin columns even though it's sometimes a bit hard to put a single number to each effect. I've been adding a ? when the effect is either optional or conditional. I've also been sorting some things by an estimated value (for example, Library draws 3 cards from a standard 5 card starting hand so I sort it as +3 cards but label it as +X cards). Any feedback or changes are welcome! I hope I didn't overstep any boundaries by getting rid of the old list of cards; it was very outdated and only had Name, Set, Type and Cost. --Arcticpenguin

[edit] Update Aug 28, 2023

See below list of update i have implement:

  • Add "!" for conditionnal get of mentionned effect. Previously "?" was for both choice and condition, now it is only for choice or possibility (you may)
  • Add "(P1)" for command card and similar effect
  • Add "P" in Treasure column, when card allow to play treasure
  • Add "Pself" if card can play itself
  • Add "Rself" if card can reduce it own cost for buying it
  • Differenciate "+VP" (for token victory) and "VP" (for victory card or when scoring capability)
  • Add "Supply", in Trash/Exile column, when played card allow to trash a card from the supply (and not from deck/hand/discard)
  • (+1) in card column denote a "gain to your hand" (gain column is also fulfilled accordingly)
  • (N +1) denote effect that give +Card at end of turn (it is like +1 card for next turn, but not really if something force us to dicard in between)
  • Fixing some card missing information or error
  • Ajusting some missing character (space, +, coin symbol, etc)

I hope you will enjoy the update. Feel free to correct my "english" or any mistake you can see. Please don't hesitate to contact me to discuss my description and interpretation if there is doubt on some cards.
