Talk:Taxman

I kind of think that this might be a lot better than either Mine or Cutpurse. The biggest thing is that unlike either of those cards, Taxman isn't totally useless in the middle or end of a game. You can trash a Gold for a Gold next turn, while taking $3 out of everyone else's hands. In >2 player games that's huge, but in 2 player big money that can make a big difference too. • The downside to Taxman in comparison to those other cards is that it sacrifices your current turn to attack and hopefully make your next turn better. Even when your opponent runs out of Copper, Cutpurse still gives you +$2, and Mine is much better at Expanding Treasures, as it puts them back into your hand. Overall, this makes Taxman rather weak, though still sometimes a must-buy, if only because your opponent gets one as well, and you need the attack. It's... kind of bizarre that way.
