Card-shaped thing is an informal term[1] encompassing Dominion cards as well as gameplay components that are printed on physical cards but not considered "cards" by the game rules. To distinguish these other components from cards, they are printed in landscape orientation and are sometimes referred to as landscapes, sideways cards, or horizontals .
