Junk

Junk is the term for unwanted cards, typically given out by attack cards (termed junking attacks).

These include curses, ruins and in some cases estates, coppers or even silvers.

Junk cards make it harder to draw your deck and increase the chances of a bad turn. In the case of curses they also decrease your victory points.
