This is the inaugural edition of the annual tournament. The tournament began on November 28th, 2011 and ended on January 28th, 2012. The tournament was organised by [[theory]] and [[rrenaud]], the founders of [[Dominion Strategy]]. [[Olneyce]] won the tournament, beating [[manzi]] 5 to 3 in the final. The winner receives a copy of [[Hinterlands]]

== Format ==
The tournament is a single elimination tournament with 256 players. The bracket will be fully seeded, based on the Isotropic rankings at the start of the tournament. Matches consist of seven games, with the first player reaching four victories taking the win. If a game ends in a tie, the game is replayed. After the first game, the losing player from the previous game will start the next one. 
This continues to the final, where a best-of-nine match is played to determine the winner of the tournament.
