Liaison is a card type from Allies. Liaisons are cards that allow you to accumulate Favor tokens. In any game using Liaisons, all players start with one Favor token, then one Ally is selected, and the Ally's ability determines what effect Favor tokens have that game. Thus the effective abilities of Liaison cards can very greatly from one game to another, depending on which Ally they appear with.
