An autopile is a way of emptying a Supply pile by playing cards from the same pile.

This can happen with cards that gain themselves, such as RatsRats.jpg or MagpieMagpie.jpg. For example, if you have a hand that contains only two RatsRats.jpg and have no other cards in your deck or discard pile, you can play RatsRats.jpg continuously, gaining all of the RatsRats.jpg to empty the pile.
