Confusion is a card that Donald X. Vaccarino included in early drafts of Dominion. It was similar to a Curse but without the –1 penalty—simply a dead card with no other effect—and some Attacks distributed Confusion instead of Curse. It was cut from the game before publication on the grounds that it was not sufficiently different from Curse.
The published card most similar to Confusion is probably not Curse but Ruined Village.
