Talk:Chariot Race

Suggested revision: Condense the debt and potions explanation into one neater paragraph under a more generalized rule.
- Eliminate the "Other Rules clarifications" section (as it will be contained in this edit). - Replace the 4th bullet, starting "With debt ..." with the following: - "Comparing cards with debt and potion costs: Your card costs more only if its $, debt, and potion costs all are greater than or equal to your opponent's, and one currency costs more." - Or: "Comparing cards with debt and potion costs: Your card costs more only if it cost more in at least one currency type and does not cost less in any currency type." - Johnhatrick (talk) 03:27, 28 August 2020 (EDT)
Question: I was playing a game against my family when I played a Chariot Race and revealed a City Quarter (cost: 8 debt). My dad, the player next to me, played a copper (cost: 0 coins) Should I have gotten the coin and victory point from it?
- Argument for: Copper technically cost 0 debt, so City Quarter is more. - Argument against: Copper is measured with coins and City Quarter with debt, so neither is necessarily more. - Answer: The first argument is correct. Copper costs 0 coins and 0 debt. City Quarter costs 0 coins and 8 debt. Therefore, City Quarter costs more than Copper.
