Way of the Worm is so simple, it's hard to write a strategy article about it, but here I go anyway. Way of the Worm (from now on WW) is one of my favorite ways. It can easily turn a dead action card into a small VP boost, without harming your deck. WW is nothing miraculous or incredible, but hey, I’ll take 1VP over 0VP. The key point isn’t that you’re gaining 1VP, but rather that it doesn’t hurt your deck whatsoever. The reason nobody buys Estate is that they take up a Buy that could be used for something better, plus it limits the amount of damage you can do with a hand when you draw it. Exiling an Estate is a solution to this problem, but it isn't elegant. You have to take 1 turn to buy an exiling card, 1 turn buying the Estate, however many turns it takes for you to reshuffle, then you still have to draw both the Estate and Exiling card in one hand. WW lets you flat-out exile it without a waiting to get it in the same hand as a Bounty Hunter or something. I haven’t even gotten to the best part yet. It makes dead cards into a VP-gainer. Draw an absolute stinker of a hand with the only action card being useless to you at the current moment (for example Fool when you’re already Lost in the Woods) play it as a WW and boom! 1VP with no stop card in your deck. WW is also a great defence against discarding attacks. Oppennent’s Legionary or Militia destroyed your plans? Well, if you still have one action left, you can WW it and gain a small victory. I’d say this is more helpful for Engine players who drew a bad hand then with a Big Money player, but I guess it can be helpful there as well. All-in-all, a pretty decent way that allows you to turn dead cards into a source of VP. However, WW isn’t perfect. It can only generate a limited amount of VP per game. Once those Estates run out, you’re essentially without a Way anymore (assuming you’re playing with only one way). Although occasional use may be the best way to use WW, you may have to frantically race to gain those Estates before they're gone.

Synergies/Combos
* Bad hands when you're an Engine Player

* Recovering from opponent's discard attacks.

* Using Ambassador, you can return the Estates in your deck to the Supply, so you can WW them later, but wouldn't be worth it in a 3-6 player game.

* The less players in a game, the less likely the Estate pile is to run out.

Antisynergies
* Can only be used when there's estates left in the supply.

* Relatively small VP boost.

*Wild Hunt increases competition for estates.
