Abbreviations are used as a shorthand when discussing Dominion strategy, in place of writing out fully each time the sometimes long names of Dominion cards or other concepts. Since a number of Dominion cards share initials, readers will sometimes have to deduce from context which card is being referred to from an abbreviation, though usually one card is referred to most often using an abbreviation.
