Treasure is a card type that provides some + (except Horn of Plenty) and is played during one's buy phase. Some treasures have other effects besides giving the player extra buying power. The strategy of buying only Treasure cards and, in the endgame, Victory cards, is called Big Money. This may be the best strategy in some "weak" kingdoms, but is usually outclassed by engine strategies. Action cards that give + are not considered Treasures, and there are no Action-Treasure cards in official Dominion.
