Errata
Here is a summarized list of all errata, rules tweaks, and changes. Note that individual card rephrasings that didn't affect their functionality are omitted.
2016 Errata

- Mine, Moneylender, and Throne Room added "you may".
- Outpost was changed to function in a similar way to Mission.
- Possession now gives all gained to the Possessing player.
- Stash now lets you look through your remaining deck when shuffling.
- Trade Route trashes before gaining .
- Masquerade skips players with no cards in hand.
- Oracle was rephrased to "draw 2 cards" instead of "+2 Cards". (This was later reverted by the 2020 Errata.)
- Shuffling the discard is done when needing to draw more cards than available in the deck instead of when the deck is empty.
- Coin tokens from Guilds are henceforth referred to as Coffers.
- Increased the font size on cards where possible.
- Replaced usage of "he" on cards and in the rules with the gender neutral "they".
The Second Edition of the Dominion base set and Intrigue were also released 2016 which removed 6 cards and added 7 new cards in each set.
2019 Errata

- Revised the Lose Track rule into the Stop-Moving rule.
- Introduced the Command type and added it to Band of Misfits, Captain, and Overlord.
- Band of Misfits and Overlord plays a card from the Supply instead of becoming it and can't play Command cards.
- Captain can't play Command cards.
- Inheritance only sets aside non-Command Action cards. Estates play the set aside card, leaving it there.
- Death Cart only gets the + bonus if it trashed a card and trashing is optional.
- Pillage does nothing if not trashed.
- Embargo only places an Embargo token if trashed.
- Procession can no longer play Durations.
- Card costs never going below became a general rule instead of being written on each card.
- Non-supply cards can always be gained when specifically referred to without additional permission given on the referring card.
2020 Errata

- Trader was changed to trigger when-gain instead of when a card would be gained.
- Oracle was restored to saying "+2 Cards" instead of "draw 2 cards".
- Village Green was changed to reveal itself when played as a reaction.
2022 Errata
For more details, see 2022 Errata.
- Coffers can now be spent at any time during your turn, not just at the beginning of your Buy phase.
- The when-buy trigger was removed and replaced with when-gain.
- The phrase "while this is in play" was replaced with "this turn".
- Overpay abilities are resolved when the card is gained.
- Counterfeit, Mint, and Crypt can no longer trash/set aside Durations.
- Bonfire can only trash Coppers.
- Hermit now exchanges itself for at Madman instead of being trashed.
- Innovation lets the player choose any gained Action card instead of just the first one.
- Inheritance also adds the Command type to Estates.
- Prince gained the Duration type, no longer allows Duration cards to be set aside, and leaves the card set aside.
- Prince gained the Command type and no longer allows Command cards to be set aside.
- Storyteller gives +1 Card after playing Treasures instead of + before playing Treasures.
- Donate and Mountain Pass no longer act in-between turns.
- Alchemist and Herbalist no longer care about in which order cards are discarded from play.
- Removed "this stays in play" reminder from Durations that last multiple turns.
- Prefer "At X do Y. Until then Z" over "Until X do Z. At X do Y.".
The Second Edition of Seaside, Prosperity, and Hinterlands were also released 2022 which removed 8 or 9 cards and added 9 new cards in each set.
2023 Errata

- Harem was renamed to Farm with new art but is functionally the same card.
- Island Folk, Journey, Mission, Outpost, Possession, and Voyage can no longer give more than two turns in a row.
- Elder was slightly reworded for clarity.
2024 Errata
- Debt can now be payed off at any time during your turn, not just during your your Buy phase.
- Scepter gained the Command type and no longer allows Command cards to be replayed, to avoid loops with Enlightenment. [1]
The Second Edition of Cornucopia & Guilds was also released 2024 which removed 8 cards, added 8 new cards, and replaced Prizes with Rewards.
