Dominion Adventures: Intrigue Act 1, subtitled Peasants and Aristocrats, is the first section of the Intrigue Adventures on Goko. Adventure Overview

You are introduced to your twin cousins, Henrietta and Belinda, and throw a masquerade ball that leads to chaos and betrayal.

Game 1 vs. Serf Clarita

You are the ruler of the magnificent but dull kingdom of Vaccara. Your coppersmith has been working hard on a jazzy new coat of arms for you; maybe if you threw a few coppers into the wishing well, it'll turn out as magnificent as you are.

Game 2 vs. Serf Anselm

Your scouts in the countryside intercepted your royal cousins, twin sisters Henrietta and Belinda, and their entourage. Oh goodie, they're paying you a visit. You let them freshen up in the harem.

Game 3 vs. Serf Eliose

You had scheduled a reception in the great hall, but where are your guests? Evidently a brouhaha has broken out in the harem. Time to upgrade your security.

Boss Game 4 vs. Belinda and Henrietta

Henrietta and Belinda are battling over which identical twin is prettier. You decline to give an answer but remind them that dinner is waiting. A flying hairbrush nearly takes out your eye.

Game 5 vs. Serf Olaf

Maybe a distraction is just what Henrietta and Belinda need. You schedule a trip to an ironworks to check out the latest in armor styles. Maybe they could get new helmets?

Game 6 vs. Maiden Ellyn

You also schedule a party, and invite nobles from far and wide. Your servants murmur about "strange things happening," but they don't elaborate. As long as the party is a success, you don't mind a little bit of weirdness.

Game 7 vs. Squire Elmo

Your party is a masquerade ball, and Belinda and Henrietta have promised to behave. It's a great turnout, and even irritating Lord Madison came. But wait--he hates parties. Why did he accept the invitation?

Boss Game 8 vs. Soldier and Servant

With so many faces hidden by masks, you're starting to get a little paranoid. Is Lord Madison up to some trickery? You duck into a side room for a quick meeting with your senior staff. You really hope that nothing spoils your ball.

Game 9 vs. Maiden Abigail

You decide that tonight, it's best to communicate in code. You keep your senior staff close, and you've asked one of your earls to keep an eye on Lord Madison.

Game 10 vs. Squire Levi

You haven't told your love about all this intrigue tonight; no need to cause undue worry. One rumor is that tribute from various lands is being sent to a little shanty town not too far from your castle. Could there be blackmail going on?

Game 11 vs. Lady Ayleth

Your masquerade costume is delightfully extravagant, and your mask is covered in feathers. Now you hear that Lord Madison wants a private audience. You're more inclined to give him a private audience with your torturer.

Boss Game 12 vs. Belinda and Thief

As you're heading to the audience with Lord Madison, someone jumps you from behind and puts a smelly cloth over your face. You feel woozy and hear a woman's voice. It's cousin Belinda. She was angrier than you had realized.

Game 13 vs. Squire Nuno

You awake to sounds of the ball in the distance. Your hands are bound, and you're stuffed in a trunk. You really hope that Lord Madison and your love have noticed that you're missing.

Game 14 vs. Lady Juetta

After a bumpy journey, you're released into a dungeon. The torturer smiles at the arrival of a new "client." Funny, but he's not asking you any questions. What exactly does he want from you?

Game 15 vs. Gentleman Albert

No matter how much the torture hurts, you won't sign papers giving Duke Ashby regent powers. Really? Your friend Duke Ashby is behind this? There must be someone else.

Boss Game 16 vs. Belinda, Gentleman Earl, and Maiden Ellyn

Back in your cell, Belinda says that she'd been blackmailed into kidnapping you by Henrietta and Lord Madison, who want to use Duke Ashby as a puppet ruler in your stead. She gives you a sword and unlocks the cell door. You're sore, but you think you can escape the guards.

Game 17 vs. Lady Amelia

With help from Belinda, you escape the prison and make it back to your castle. Your love had assumed that you were dead; Henrietta and Lord Madison had taken control of your treasury.

Game 18 vs. Gentleman Harald

Your dull castle never looked so wonderful. You send out the militia to scour the countryside for Henrietta and Lord Madison; Lord Madison is easily found in his usurped chambers in the castle. Let's hope he doesn't put up a fight.

Game 19 vs. Gentleman Earl

Henrietta and Lord Madison are tracked to the shanty town--the one rumored to be receiving illicit payments. Evidently the gossip at the castle should be heeded.

Boss Game vs. Lord Madison, Soldier, and Henrietta

You want to witness Henrietta and Lord Madison's capture, so you accompany your militia to the shanty town. Lord Madison is known to be an able fighter, and Henrietta is deadly with a brush and comb.

Epilogue

You banish Henrietta and Lord Madison from Vaccara; you don't want to see them again, ever, not even at a masquerade ball. [player name] is happy.
