Patrician/Emporium is a split pile from the Empires expansion. There are 5 copies each of Patrician and Emporium with a single randomizer card. When Patrician/Emporium is selected as a Kingdom card for a game, they are put into a single Supply pile with the Patrician cards on top of the Emporium cards. Only the top card can be gained at any given time, which normally means that all Patricians must be gained before the Emporiums become available.
