Strategy

Bard is a terminal silver that also gives a Boon. Bard is most commonly used as an opening buy to help buy a on the second shuffle while also getting a Boon that gives your deck some other small benefit. However, since Bard is a terminal Action, this is only advisable if you anticipate having enough terminal space for it later in the game. Otherwise, it is often better to just buy a Silver, which also helps you hit . Bard can occasionally be used on gain-limited boards as an extra source of gains. This is hard to depend on given that Boons which provide extra gains will only occur randomly and sporadically.

Secret History

The simplest Fate card. I didn't have it immediately, but one day it was time to get simple. Some versions had an heirloom paired with it, since they glommed onto simple cards, but in the end it doesn't have one.
