+1 Buy When you play this, Exile it. |
Stockpile is a Treasure card from Menagerie. It gives + like Gold and also +1 Buy, then Exiles itself. You can buy another Stockpile to get all your Exiled Stockpiles back. Sometimes you can extend the number of times you can play Stockpiles, such as by trashing one and gaining it back.

Stockpile has a different trick: it Exiles itself. You can just buy another one to get back the first one, and Exile them again, and buy another to get back those two, and so on. Until the pile runs out anyway.
Secret History
Renaissance had tried out a one-shot Smithy that went to your Jail. When the Jail left, it turned into Experiment. I knew Smithy wasn't great due to tracking, and after a game with it as a gold-gainer, went with + +1 Buy. Those of you who have really been paying attention remember that Feast was originally a one-shot + for ; wasn't that too good or something? Apparently not!
