Official FAQ
- This happens each time you buy a card.
- For example with and 3 Buys, you could buy Copper, then Copper, then Silver, taking 2 , then 2 , then none.
Other rules clarifications
- You do not get 2 for buying an Event or Project, even if it's an Event whose effect is to gain you a card.
- If you buy a card that allows you to overpay, you can take 2 from Basilica before overpaying.
- If you buy a card costing Taxed pile, you take 2 before you take any . , or you buy a card from a
- If you buy a card with left over and then somehow get + as a result of buying, you can take 2 from this. (This can happen in complicated scenarios involving, for example, Haggler, Watchtower, and Priest It has to be due to an effect triggered by buying a card, like Haggler, not by gaining a card, like Border Village..)
