FAQ
Official FAQ
- For example, if your deck has 3 Estates, a Province, and a Territory, Territory is worth 3 .
- If gaining Territory causes the Clashes pile to be empty, that counts for how many Golds you get.
Other rules clarifications
- If the Clashes are Hasty or Patient, then that may lead you to play Territory. This normally means nothing, but it will still trigger Adventures tokens (e.g. Pathfinding), count as a card you've played this turn (e.g. for Landing Party), and counts as a card in play (e.g. for Tools).

Secret History
Battle Plan and Territory started out like they ended, though I tried Territory counting Attack cards too (it's just not as interesting).
When-gain effect
The main reason is, I had that premise, and that spot seemed fine for it, and then there it was. I've gained Golds from it plenty. It means the whole pile is interactive, that's nice.
