Guilds is still the most recent expansion, and we're still exploring this card. Feel free to add your thoughts!
Candlestick Maker is a fairly solid
card that is beneficial to most kinds of decks - if you don't mind the spot it takes up in your hand, that is. While buying Candlestick Maker en masse is rarely advisable, it is a cheap source of non-terminal +Buy that can help engines get off the ground, and +1 coin token is a useful, underrated perk.It is one of the better Gardens enablers in the game, as unlike Workshop or Woodcutter it is non-terminal, allowing multiple plays per turn. Being able to save coin tokens between turns helps smooth out your Gardens buys and keeps your deck running smoothly. Since having more Candlestick Maker is strictly better than Copper, you can afford to buy 5 or more Candlestick Makers before rushing the Gardens pile, ensuring ample +Buy and a very large deck very quickly - easily hitting a 50 card deck by turn 18 or so.

Antisynergies
