Highwayman is an Action-Duration-Attack card from Allies. It is a duration-draw attack like Enchantress that nullifies the first Treasure each other player plays. This can be a powerful attack against opponents who have trashed their Copper and depend on large treasures like Gold as a source of payload; against opponents who have Copper to play its effect is more like the -
token. Unlike most Duration cards, Highwayman is discarded from play at the beginning of your next turn rather than the end, meaning you might be able to draw and play the same copy on consecutive turns.

Other Rules clarifications
- Playing a Treasure still activates abilities of other cards. For example, if you play a Silver that does nothing, you may still trash a card with Sauna.
- If you play this with Throne Room, then when Highwayman discards itself from play, the Throne Room will remain in play until Clean-up.
- Unlike Enchantress, this can affect a Treasure that another player plays during your turn. So if you have Capitalism, and another player reacts with a Caravan Guard, it does nothing, and they discard it during your Clean-up phase.
- If you play a Scheme at the start of your turn (with e.g. Royal Galley), you may put Highwayman onto your deck when you discard it from play with its own ability (and you will immediately draw the Highwayman back).
