FAQ
Official FAQ (2021)
- For example with Settlers in play, buying another Settlers gets you 2 from here.
- Cards from the same pile are not necessarily copies of each other; for example Bustling Village is not a copy of Settlers.
Other rules clarifications
- In 2022, Colonnade got errata to care about any Action that was gained, and not just Actions that were bought.
- You get 2 for each copy of the Action you gain, not for each copy you have in play.
- Before the 2019 Errata, a Band of Misfits or Overlord in play would count as a copy of whichever Action it was emulating (unless its emulation was prevented by an Enchantress). This no longer applies, as under the new rules, the only thing in play is the Band of Misfits or Overlord, rather than the card they are playing.
- If you gain an Action and then immediately play it (e.g. you gained a Trail, or you use Innovation), that will let you take 2 from this.
- If you have bought Inheritance, Estates count as Actions on your turn, and therefore will give you 2 when bought with an Estate in play.
