When you play your Golem you’ll find your Storeroom for the needed buy and deck filtering. This accelerates the engine and mitigates the problem of Potion cards being slow. Seeing your Potion often is especially important with {{Card|Alchemist}}. Storeroom lets you buy them faster and can put them more reliably on top of your deck. Storeroom being terminal isn’t a big problem here as you won’t draw Alchemists dead often.

  1. Sifting to find your important cards, which entails discarding as much as needed to draw to them.
  2. Discarding as many excess or junk cards as possible to generate $.
  3. Practicing good reshuffle control, both by avoiding bad reshuffle triggers containing many stop cards (possibly discarded by an earlier Storeroom), and by setting up clean reshuffles when possible, by discarding and drawing exactly as many cards remain in your shuffle.

While this first goal may require you to play Storeroom somewhat early in your turn, the other two goals will generally incentivize you to play it later in your turn, after drawing with your other cards.

Storeroom synergizes very well with StampedeStampede.jpg, as it lets you generate significant $ without putting many cards into play, while the draw from the HorsesHorse.jpg can in turn be converted into a large amount of $. With a deck consisting of two Storerooms, a GoldGold.jpg, two SilversSilver.jpg, and your starting cards, you can repeatedly buy a ProvinceProvince.jpg and StampedeStampede.jpg, setting up the other Storeroom for next turn by discarding one more card than you have remaining in your shuffle.
